WEB DESIGN
This page will help you understand about what
is involved with the design and launching of your new web site. PageKraft will lead
you through all of the steps necessary to get on the web. Following are some of the
design and publishing elements to be considered during the design process.
 | Themes
The overall theme of your site will depend on the mood that you want to
project. Style, colors, backgrounds, buttons, etc. are
part of your theme. During the initial design process,
PageKraft will evaluate your needs and suggest one or more themes for your approval.
PageKraft offers two types of themes.
 | Standard
Themes
Standard themes are provided by major software companies. They are
professionally designed and attractive. There is a standard theme to fit any mood.

| Custom Themes
Custom themes can be designed by PageKraft to give a more individual expression.
There are additional costs for this design process.

| Graphics
and Images
As in any media, pictures are an excellent aid in delivering your message.
Following are some of the elements to consider.
| Clipart
There is a vast array of clipart available to fit the mood and
message of almost any page. Clip art can be very effective and is usually the most
economical approach.

| Image Files
Image files from any source can be used to afford a more
professional style. These can be provided by you, scanned from your pictures and
brochures, or supplied by PageKraft through digital photography.

| Custom Work
Custom artwork, image animation, active elements, sound, data
tables, hit counters, and forms can be provided by PageCraft.

|
| Shopping
Cart
A shopping cart system is available to allow
your web site visitors to place orders on line. This system will provide an
automatic tabulation of items ordered with extensions, totals, shipping charges,
etc. A secure form is included to allow the use of major credit cards without the
risk of theft. TeamShop is an example of
the shopping cart system used by PageKraft.

| Internet
Service Provider (ISP)
You will need to be set up with an ISP to have access to the
Internet and e-mail. If you are not already set up, PageKraft will guide you in this
process.

| Web
Presence Provider (WPP)
Once PageKraft has created a Web for you, you will need to contract
with a WPP who will host your web site on the Internet. PageKraft can make
arrangements for your domain and the necessary Web disk space. See the WPP heading in the rates area for more details.
