  • Enchantment Resort, in Sedona, is 110 miles north of Phoenix. At the heart of Arizona's 'Red Rock Country,' the Coconino National Forest, replete with archaeological rarities and rich Southwestern history, borders the property. An altitude of 4,600 feet ensures that even the hottest Arizona weather is within the comfort zone.

  • Page, Arizona was created in 1957 to house workers and their families during the construction of nearby Glen Canyon Dam on the Colorado River. Its 17-square-mile site was obtained in a land exchange with the Navajo Indian tribe. The dam has been controversial since its inception, because it caused the flooding of Glen Canyon to create a man-made reservoir, Lake Powell.
